Last updated: September 18, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how UBERMENSCH LTD, trading as Cloth & Chapter (“Cloth & Chapter”, “we”, “us” or “our”) collects, uses, shares and protects personal information through clothandchapter.com.

For applicable UK and European data protection law, UBERMENSCH LTD is the data controller. Our registered office is Office 6024, 58 Peregrine Road, Hainault, Ilford, Essex, IG6 3SZ, United Kingdom. Questions and privacy requests can be sent to clothandchapter@gmail.com.

1. Information we collect

Website and device information

When you visit the site, our hosting and security providers may process technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, time zone, requested pages, referring page, approximate location, timestamps and security signals.

Analytics information

If you allow analytics cookies, we collect information about visits, pages viewed, traffic source, campaign links and interactions such as product or tutorial clicks. We use Google Analytics 4 with advertising signals disabled. Analytics storage remains denied unless you choose to allow it.

We also keep simple first-party visit statistics on our own Cloudflare hosting: pages viewed, time on page, how far a page was scrolled, traffic source, approximate location (country and city) and device type, plus steps such as adding to cart or starting checkout. This measurement sets no cookies and does not store your IP address. Visits on the same day are grouped with a one-way code that changes every day, so it cannot be used to follow you over time.

Mailing-list information

When you join the First Chapter list, we collect your email address, consent record, signup time and available attribution information such as campaign source, referring site and landing page.

Order information

When checkout is available and you place an order, we collect information needed to process and fulfil it, including your name, email address, telephone number where provided, billing and delivery addresses, order contents, transaction status and shipping information. Complete card details are collected and processed by the payment provider shown at checkout and are not stored by us.

Customer-support information

If you contact us, request a return or make a guarantee claim, we collect the information you provide, such as your name, email address, order number, messages, photographs and evidence relevant to the request.

8. Your privacy rights
